Studio with garden and Finnish sauna

"Inter Agricolas" is the name of our accommodation, situated in the Schermer polder, 6 Km eastward from Alkmaar. As you see on the pictures below, "InterAgricolas" is a convenient place to be for two people, during holidays or a longer stay, the whole year around. This accommodation is located in the historical Schermer polder, near Alkmaar, Noord-Holland. You do not have direct neighbours. All is agricultural area around this location. So staying here means: silence, privacy and a lot of personal comfort too. Also you can rent a privat Finnish sauna ( €20.- for 4 hrs.) and lounge in our beautiful garden. You can cater for yourself/ yourselves, as the kitchenunit and fridge are up-to-date. And there is also a strong WIFI connection. Bedlinnen, kitchen- and bathtowels are included and will be changed on your demand. "InterAgricolas" is situated in the middle of Noord-Holland, with a variety of daytrips: Beach & Dunes within 30 min. driving (15 Km.), historical towns like Alkmaar, Hoorn, Schagen, Volendam, De Rijp, Zaandam (Zaansche Schans). Amsterdam, with the Rijks Museum, is just 45 train-minutes from here. You can rent sport-bikes ( €5.- p.d.p.b.) for discovering this beautiful polderlandscape, with the best collection of Golden Age watermills in the world. And if you like to cater for yourself, the nearest supermarket is in Stompetoren at about 2 Km. and near the mill of Oterleek (see picture) you can buy daily fresh bread and Eko-dairy products (about 0.5 Km.) With kind regards, Piet Vriend Annex to the studio and veranda you have acces to a privat terrace and the backyard. There is also a parkingplace and your own cycleshed near the veranda. We live in the mainhouse near the guest accommodation. For questions etc. you can come and see us. "Inter Agricolas" is located in a rural, green zone around Alkmaar and Heerhugowaard. From here you can plan all kind of outings to interesting historical towns like Alkmaar, Hoorn, Volendam and De Rijp, but also trips along the Northsea coast and cycletours into the interesting polderland-scape. In this region is a variety of restaurants and terraces for a coffee / lunchstop or eveningdinner. When you'll plan to come by public transport, you can travel by train to station Alkmaar-Noord. There we can meet you on appointment. Our car-service to the railstation on the day of arrival and departure is free. You also can hire sportbikes @ €5.- per bike per day. The costs for water, electricity and heating are inclusive and also the bedlinnen, kitchen and bathtowels. Also the touristtax is included. The quality of drinkingwater is *****. So , if you like, you do not need to take mineralwater with you. We like to keep the accommodation clean and healthy for all our guests. So it is a smoke-free livingspace, inside and outside. We expect that you leave the accommodation, as you did find it on the first day of your stay.
