Cozy all-in-one room with waterfalls nearby

This is a small and cozy room/studio for two with a private bathroom. It is located in Borovnica, a small countryside village which is only 20 km from capital city Ljubljana. It is perfect for all who seek peace and quiet. Please take time to read the entire description to make sure if it’s a great fit for you! A studio has shared entrance and terrace (it is shared with other apartment). By the window there is a small kitchen with sink, kettle, electric cooking plate, toaster and other essential kitchen tools for making a meal. A big window has a nice view over the fields. There is also a private bathroom with shower. We want to male your stay in our little village as welcoming as we can, so feel free to contact us if you have some questions. It is reachable by car and there is a lot of parking space. You can take train from Ljubljana/Postojna/Koper... to Borovnica. There is also possibilty to rent e-bikes. I give my guests space but am available when needed Ohonica is a part of Borovnica Municipality. It is a small settlement, surrounded by forest and meadows. Pekel Gorge (Soteska Pekel) is reachable within walking distance (1,5 km or 15 minutes). Gorge consists of 5 waterfalls. In the summer time you can refresh in a clear water after a peaceful hike. Town Borovnica is 2 km away. There you can find supermarkets, gas station, a post office, a bank, pharmacy, restaurants, a bakery, a few coffee places and a train station. Close by is also Ljubljana Marshes Nature Park (Ljubljansko barje) where you can go for a walk, birdwatching, kayaking or take a trip with a bicycle. A bit bigger city Vrhnika is 7 km away-a place where the Marsh and the Karst region meet. On the way there you can stop in Technical Museum Slovenia in Bistra which is situated in the former monastery complex. There are many things to see and do in our area, countless opportunities to discover both nature and culture. A train to Ljubljana will take 20 minutes and they go frequently. There are also good train connections to Postojna and the coast. You can rent a car nearby or take our bikes-free of charge (please mention if you want to use them).
