Lovely detatched house in the hamlet of Vindefontaine. Many original features. Very spacious and comfortable. Three double bedrooms. Two bathrooms. One ensuite. Secure walled garden with mature plants and trees. Terrace area for al fresco dining and small wildlife pond. Double glazing and gas central heating. Two open fires. Logs available on request Electric oven/hob. 2 fridges. Freezer.Wine fridge. Microwave. Kettle. Coffeemaker. Cooking utensils ++ Washing machine. Dishwasher. Iron and board. Barbecue, fire pit and outdoor furniture. Bedlinen and towels provided. Fantastic base from which to explore Normandy by bike, car or on foot. We also provide a welcome pack to all guests containing basics such as tea, coffee, sugar,water. Fresh bread on the day of arrival and a few items to make a simple meal if you have had a long journey. There are many activities locally - freshwater fishing, horseriding, kayaking and of course the D-Day landing beaches and many historical attractions including the Bayeux tapestry. Many good local restaurants from cheap and cheerful to fine dining.
