2 bedroom home near county parks and Notre Dame

This charming home is perfect for adventurers, travelers, bicylclists and sports fans. It is located just north of the Indiana-Michigan border and 12 minutes drive from the Notre Dame campus, just over 30 minutes from Lake Michigan beaches and wineries, and a very short walk to two county parks. The house is also located right next to a bike trail linking Niles, Notre Dame, South Bend, and Mishawaka. Up to 6 can stay in the home and up to 10 total are permitted if some guests camp outdoors. This is a 2 bedroom home. The house is built on one level, but there are 2-3 steps to get into the house. Guests will have access to bathroom, kitchen, and laundry facilities. Coffee supplies are available and fresh eggs and goat's milk cheese from the host's family farm are available (in season) upon request. Guests also have access to a 3/4 acre lawn and a fire pit for outdoor events. Only 6 guests are allowed to stay in the house, but up to 10 guests are allowed if some choose to camp in the outdoor space. All of the house and surrounding yard is available for access. I am typically out of town, but I have several family members living in the neighborhood who are happy to assist as any issues arise. The neighborhood is a quiet residential neighborhood and the home is less than a mile from adjoining parks on the Indiana-Michigan border: Madeline Bertrand County Park (Michigan) and St. Patrick's County Park (Indiana). Madeline Bertrand boasts an 18-hole disc golf course, St. Patrick's offers canoe rental on the St. Joseph river, and both parks have playgrounds, picnic areas, and trails for biking and hiking. There is also a South Bend Transpo bus stop about 1.5 miles from the house.
