* Quiet Cul-de-Sac in Newmarket * #1

The room is perhaps a little small for two so is probably more suitable for a single person, though couples have happilly stayed here. The house is in a quiet sul-de-sac with a pleasant sitting area at the back. We are within easy reach of Newmarket racecourse, horse sales and the town centre. Cambridge, Ely and Bury St Edmunds are within a 15 mile radius. I will usually be here to meet and greet you. Tea and coffee plus kettle are provided in the room and you are welcome to use the kitchen to prepare meals. The dining room is also available for you to use but please vacate the area when you have eaten. There is a pleasant seating area in the back garden which you are free to make the most of on sunny days. Long stayers can use the washing maching in the kitchen. Two more rooms are available, a single and a double, please see my profile for listings . There is free parking in the cul-de-sac and you are welcome to use my drive. We are on a regular bus route to the town centre. I'll be home most of the time and will be available to meet and greet you. If I'm not available, my daughter lives close by and will be there to check you in and answer any questions you may have. There is also a lockbox if you prefer that method. You can contact us any time and we try to respond within the hour. Please don't bring anyone else with you unless they are on the booking form. Thank you. The famous horse training grounds are within easy reach, and there is a fine Racing Museum in town. It's a 15 minute walk to the town centre and the bus station, 20/25 minutes to Tattersalls and a short drive to the racecourses. There is local bus stop close by. Buses go to and from town every 30 minutes. Free buses go from the town and train station to the racecourse on racedays.
