Golfing in Glenbeigh The nearest 18-hole golf course is Dooks Golf Course which has spectacular views over Dingle Bay. The next golf course is Killorglin Golf Course. The lake is five miles long by one mile wide and is well known to artists, walkers, and lovers of nature alike. This freshwater lake with its backdrop of the Mcgillicuddy Reeks Mountain range and the lower Caragh River is renowned for salmon and trout fishing and for various water sports. ''Star Wars filming on Skelligs'' The Skelligs scenes from the most recent Star Wars film Episode VII "The Force Awakens" were filmed at the islands in 2014.
