A self contained, comfortable & clean studio, with the necessary amenities, is perfect for 1 person. If you wish to have a quiet, peaceful place to stay & yet easily accessible to most places of interests around Gif sur Yvette, this is it. You are most welcomed here ! In our own house we have a 20M² studio with independent access. It is fully furnished with a single sized bed, and a pull out single bed underneath ( recommended for a child or infant ), a desk & 3 chairs and a wall cupboard. There is a separate bathroom with bathtub, toilet & wash basin. An utility corner has a small fridge, microwave oven, and a hot plate for simple cooking. Free High speed Internet Wifi & heating included. ( Note : This house was built more than 30 years ago. The walls are not totally sound proof like modern walls of current period. Therefore, discretion on sound & speech would be appreciated...) The house is situated in a small, very quiet residential town called Gif sur Yvette, with 20k population spread out in the valley and on the uphill flat-lands. There are forests and lots of green around, just 10 mins walk to nearby shopping areas, and 5 mins to the Gif sur Yvette 18 holes Golf course. Bus stop is 80M away, with regular buses to the train station ( RER line B ), which is 45 mins to centre of Paris every 15 mins intervals. It's a convenient place for those who come to work, doing research & attending conferences at " CEA de Saclay " & " CNRS ". Equally, It's also ideal for students for Orsay University, HEC and Supélec. Finally, but not the least, tourists wishing to visit Paris & its surrounding while staying in a green & peaceful region are most welcomed too. No problems of car parking. We would be very happy to have you stay in our place and help you to discover the Valley de la Chevreuse, the beautiful & famous forest region, very popular for walkings, exercises & family leisures.
