Beautiful secluded rural home

This is an Arts & Crafts house, home to D and her family, and available on a 'Bed & Breakfast' basis. Please note that it is not possible to book the whole house or to book it as self-catering accommodation. We have 6 bedrooms available: 1 en suite double bedroom 1 double bedroom with separate shared bathroom 2 double bedrooms sharing a private bathroom 1 en suite twin bedroom 1 single with adjacent private bathroom All bathrooms have showers over the baths or a separate shower cubicle. All rooms can be booked individually. Guests are welcome to walk around our large award-winning garden and the surrounding woodland. We are conveniently situated between nearby Sissinghurst Castle and Great Dixter, and our gardens are open to the public on weekday afternoons in season. Your stay will include a delicious breakfast of tea and coffee, cereals, fresh home made bread and free range eggs from our own chickens. Wireless wifi is available. We will be here to welcome you, show you to your room and give you any additional information and advice you may require on places to visit, castles, gardens, restaurants, pubs and good walks. We will be available to provide breakfast each morning and, since this is also our home, we will be generally available to answer questions, provide recommendations and assistance. Woodchurch lies in the heart of the Weald of Kent. There are many excellent walks and bicycle rides around us. Our own garden is open to the public 7 days a week in the afternoon, and a short drive away there are other wonderful gardens to explore, including Sissinghurst, Hole Park, Great Dixter, Great Comp and Pashley Manor. The beautiful beach of Camber Sands and the seaside towns of Rye and Winchelsea are all within easy reach. Canterbury with its World Heritage Site Cathedral and mediaeval city centre is 40 minutes away by car. Our house is situated a mile from the village of Woodchurch. Nearest stations are Headcorn (12 miles) and Ashford International (8 miles) from where you can take the high speed service to London St Pancras (35 minutes). Woodchurch is situated in the beautiful rural Kent countryside but has the benefit of being near to excellent travel connections as it is situated just 15 mins from junction 9 of the M20 and close to the ports of Folkestone and Dover. We will be happy to arrange taxis for you. The village of Woodchurch is a mile away. It has a general store, butcher/greengrocer, church and 2 pubs. For other shopping the nearest town is Tenterden, 2 miles away, which can cater for most needs.
