Antelope Cottage is a beautiful Grade II Listed Cottage, built in the mid 1700's. It is situated in the heart of the historic market town of Northleach, Gloucestershire where the property was once used as an old Coaching Inn. The idyllic market square is located just a mere 200m from the property which boasts amenities including the town shops, cafes, Wine bar / Coffee house as well as the award -winning Wheatsheaf Inn. The property offers on street parking & a short walk to the local church. A spacious 2 bedroom cottage full of character and features including a stunning log burner, spacious living area and bathroom featuring a bath and separate rainfall shower. The property boasts a fully equipped inviting kitchen, including microwave and dishwasher. The dining table with window seating, perfect to watch stunning wedding processions up Antelope Lane to the Church. The upstairs offers a spacious family bathroom with separate shower, a Master Bedroom with built-in wardrobes and a Second Bedroom with 2 single beds (which can be made into a double) also presenting built-in wardrobes. The utility room provides storage for dog, bike and hiking equipment. The space also offers a washing machine and access to the Cloakroom. WiFi is available throughout the property. We have a courtyard where our dog does it’s business but there is a field to the rear of the property (towards the church on the right) convenient for a morning dog loo break/walk, run around, longer trails or an evening stroll. Safe-key deposit box to enter the property. Northleach is a beautiful town with various amenities, cafes & restaurants within 2mins walk. Free on street parking normally available outside the property. Available at all times The cottage is just a short walk from the centre of the town with café, bakery, wine bar, convenience store, pharmacy and gift shops. The Wheatsheaf Inn is almost diagonally opposite the cottage and a must visit for near Michelin star quality dining. There is a market in the square every Wednesday. To the west end of the road, The Old Prison offers light bites, snacks and afternoon tea. The town has a real safe and community feel, where neighbours are friendly to locals and visitors alike. Situated next to the A49, Northleach is excellently situated for travel. It is within easy driving distance to other popular towns situated in the Cotswolds such as Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton on the Water, Cirencester and Cheltenham famous for its annual horse racing festival. They are all equipped with a variety of shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and local markets making for a great day out exploring local surroundings. Additionally, there are 21 local bus services to and from Northleach given access to Oxford, as well as the above mentioned towns. Trainlink to mainline Oxford to London Paddington are located in Kingham or Kemble stations. .
