Luxury Vaal River Family Retreat - serviced

Our place is situated on the Vaal river, 50 minutes drive from Johannesburg. We have endless rolling lawns and beautiful lush river frontage. The house has fresh decor and can easily accommodate 12 people without anyone being in each others space. The property does have a slipway and jetty for the guests use, with their own boat. The house is a family holiday home, so it can easily be enjoyed by all, whether a big family gathering or just a group of friends. It is on the rivers edge, so sit back relax and enjoy those pure african sunsets. The rolling lawns make it perfect for a game of touch rugby or lawn cricket. The house is everything you need for a magical escape on the vaal river. Our amazing staff will be available during your stay to assist at no extra fee. Guests have access to the entire 5 acres of property. The river frontage is not fenced off. It is the responsibility of the guests to supervise all activity on and close to the water and the hosts or staff will not be held liable for any injury, loss or death. A indemnity form will be signed upon check in. I am available by phone, email or text if guests need me. I am also available in person. The Neighborhood is quiet with only a handful of houses in the street. Public transport is available, through Taljaard taxis. They only operate locally It is advisable that you arrange your own transport. There is a wonderful couple on the property who is the groundskeeper and the housekeeper. They are available for certain tasks in and around the property, they will make sure that your stay is one of pure relaxation. We have a nespresso machine, so coffee lovers please bring your pods along. No more than 12 people in the house. No floor beds to be made. We do have a generator on the property, for the occasional power outage.
