There is a 5km walking trail through the trees around the estate where buck and bird life is plentiful. One of the Estate pool’s may be used by guests. There are also braai facilities at the pool. Ray’s Kitchen is an excellent restaurant within Dunkirk and a short walk away. There are jungle gyms and dams for catch and release fishing. Your host, Camilla, will be available via phone or email at anytime. There is a housekeeper who will service the home Monday to Friday and is available on weekends at an extra fee. The beach is a short 2 min drive down the road. The choice of beaches are varied from tidal pools, swimming beaches, surfing beaches and rock pools. Ballito promenade with a lovely long walk and festive restaurants is a short drive away. Across from Dunkirk Estate is a shopping complex with a woolies, checkers and clicks. There are many activities for kids and great restaurants all within a 5km radius. Salt Rock is a wonderful part of the world... you may never want to leave. A car is recommended for getting around. To maintain the relaxed, open door lifestyle within the estate security and access is strict. After booking guests will need to fill in forms and pay a security deposit with the estate in order to get access cards.
