In 2008, our organic dairy farm also provides bed and breakfast accommodation at a location in an idyllic environment. This beautiful landscape was the reason why the company is called 'Blikopdepolder', which means 'Viewofthepolder'. 'Blikopdepolder' is the perfect base to explore the Green Heart of the Netherlands and also as a place of return to find peace and quiet, because of the space and the convenience of the accommodation. The nearby village of Kamerik , in the middle of the polder, has a bakery, a butcher, a supermarket, a restaurant and a pub and is about 5 kilometres from the city of Woerden . In Woerden is a railway station and Amsterdam is only a 30 minute drive away. 'Blikopdepolder' consists of five apartments, which are well-equipped and have each a private terrace. Each accommodation bears a different name; Gele lis, Koekoeksbloem, Vergeetmenietje, Madeliefje and the Poldersuite. These flowers can also be found in the surrounding banks of the ditches. All apartments are self-sufficient and breakfast is available on request. There is ample parking space for bicycles and a large patio. Up to 20 people can be accommodated.
