Litton Mill is a beautiful converted former watermill located right in the heart of the Peak District, minutes walk from the Monsal Trail. The apartment has been recently renovated and features a stunning 640 sq ft open plan living, dining room and kitchen area as well as two large ensuite bedrooms each having super king beds (which can be turned into two single beds if required) with an additional pullout small single bed in each room. A beautiful former watermill, our apartment is on the top (second) floor of this historic building which is located down a beautiful lane that follows the River Wye till you come to the small hamlet of mill cottages and the mill itself. The open plan living, dining and kitchen is 640 square ft (60 sqm) with 3 metre high ceilings and large windows giving a unique space to relax, eat and enjoy. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge freezer, cooker, microwave, hobs, dishwasher, wine fridge and washing machine. The living room features two large sofas and an armchair, an electric fire and has a smart TV. The large bedrooms feature the same high ceilings and large windows and each have beds that are super kings or can be split to make two single beds. Each has it's own ensuite, one of which has a bath and shower, the other a shower, both have toilets, sinks, mirrors and towel radiators. The property has a lift and also has secure underground parking for one car + bike rack to lock bikes and another car parking space outside the building. The large hallway in the apartment features a bench, coat hooks, boot storage and an additional toilet. Around the area are beautiful villages, great pubs and local amenities. The Monsal Trail is a couple of minutes walk from your front door and a short walk up to the lane will bring you to The Anglers Rest pub which serves great food and drinks. Located down a beautiful lane that follows the River Wye, the Mill is located in a small community of beautiful cottages, just down the road from one of the Peak Districts award-winning pubs and close to the stunning villages of Litton and Tideswell. The famous Monsal Trail is on your doorstep just a few minutes away featuring a unique trail going through old train tunnels, over stunning bridges and with amazing views of the Peak District. There are also hundreds of walks available from the apartment or nearby. Located close to the villages of Litton, Tideswell & Taddington, 15 minutes drive to Bakewell and Buxton and just 20 minutes to the beautiful Chatsworth House, a must-see!
