The Studio, Studley. Self-contained rural setting

In the current climate we want to reassure guests that we take personal pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene both before and during our visit. Whether you are looking for a quiet retreat for sightseeing around the beautiful local area or somewhere to stay for business then the Ranch Studio is ideal. The accommodation is modern, well appointed and completely self-contained so you can be secure and relaxed to enjoy your visit. A very well appointed, light and airy studio apartment in a self-contained separate building. The space comprises a downstairs entrance hall with seating and a desk for work and itinerary planning. There are stairs to an upstairs studio which is an open plan space with king sized bed, 2 Chesterfield sofa's and side tables. There is a kitchen area at one end and a separate shower room at the other. The kitchen is equipped with hob, microwave, sink, fridge and Nespresso coffee maker complete with cooking implements and crockery. There is also a breakfast bar and stools. The shower room has a large shower in enclosure. Convenience and entertainment is provided by a Smart TV and wifi. Additional facilities are hairdryer and USB charging outlets. There is good storage for personal belongings and a full sized wardrobe downstairs. Outside there is a fully enclosed secluded courtyard with table and chairs. Parking is directly in front of the Studio for up to 2 cars. Tea and coffee making facilities are available as is the makings for a light self-served breakfast. If you prefer to eat out there is an excellent pub restaurant 10 mins walk away and a variety of other eateries within 2-3 miles. The studio is a completely separate building which has its own access not shared or used by us. You have complete and exclusive use of the facilities during your stay. The key is collected and deposited in a lock box by the door and so arrival and departure times are when you want - no need to agree these with us. You will be responsible for ensuring the building is locked when you go out during the day. The arrival and departure times are 3 p.m. and 11 a.m. respectively. Should you wish to arrive/depart outside of these hours then please ask. We will do our best to accommodate your request to allow you the maximum time in the accommodation whilst ensuring adequate preparation time for any arriving guests. We are your next door neighbours and very happy to help with making your stay as enjoyable and interesting as possible. However, we will respect your privacy and leave you alone unless contacted. There is generally someone at the house at all times and you are free to contact us by text/phone at any time. Enjoy your stay by visiting local sites of interest (Avebury, Cherhill White Horse, Royal Wootton Bassett) or a short train ride from Chippenham gives you easy access to Bath, Bristol and Swindon. If you are new to the area and want help planning your activities, then we are very happy to help.The area is excellent for outdoor activities – walking, cycling (road and off-road) and running. Being active outdoor enthusiasts we can make any equipment such as tools, track pumps and bike storage available for your use. We can also provide a selection of running and cycling routes if you wish. The North Wiltshire Sustrans Cycle Network 403 can be accessed 100m down the hill from the accommodation. There is a sports centre with pool 4 miles away for any triathletes needing to maintain their programme! The Ranch Studio is in a quiet rural situation with outstanding views but is easily accessible and with good amenities. The nearest railway station is Chippenham (about 10 mins away) or from the M4 by car its about 20 mins. There is also the Route 55 bus route which connects Chippenham and Swindon and stops about 250m from the property. COVID-19 Protection. It is our view that the COVID-19 virus will be around at a low level for the foreseeable future. To be extra cautious we have taken the following measures to protect our guests during their stay: 1. We have ensured there is adequate preparation time between each guest visit. This ensures we can fully clean and disinfect the space prior to welcoming our next guests. 2. All rooms will be thoroughly deep cleaned before each visit using anti-bacterial agents. We personally clean the rooms and fully comply with the Airbnb policies as well as local government regulations 3. Checking in and out is on a contactless basis using a key box. We are always available to help but will not routinely meet guests during their stay. 4. All washing areas will be supplied with anti-bacterial hand wash and gel. 5. We have provided a cleaning pack for guests to enable ad hoc sanitation if you wish. This includes latex gloves, paper towel, anti bac wipes and spray and additional anti bac soap and hand cleanser. 6. All food items will be provided as sanitized sealed individual portions where applicable - e.g. sugar, tea bags, cereals etc. Where this cannot be done e.g. bread, milk, orange juice then they will be provided new to each guest. To encourage longer stays we have increased the weekly discount. If any of your party do feel ill when you are due to arrive could we ask that you consider re-arranging your visit. We are very happy to re-book your visit with no penalty and also offer full refund option should you wish to cancel. Other Points We welcome infants and small people staying and it is ideal in you will not be disturbed or disturb anyone else. However, there is staircase up to the studio from the entrance hall which does not have a stair gate. The downstairs hall does have a lot of space to store a small persons accessories!
