Barn Annex - Stansted (near airport)

The Little Barn is a cosy self contained detached annex at the rear of our family home. We are very happy to welcome visitors for just one night, longer periods or regular bookings. We are perfectly located for Stansted Airport, London and Cambridge. The Little Barn is a traditional black weather boarded barn, converted 3 years ago to modern one bedroom accommodation with simple country charm. The accommodation is cosy and comfortable, with the convenience of a hotel but with the luxury of extra space. It is situated in the pretty village of Stansted Mountfitchet, within walking distance of shops, convenience stores, restaurants and bars. Free parking is available on the road next to the barn or paid parking in local car parks. Guests are welcome to use a pretty outside sitting area in a secluded area of the main house garden. We will be at hand throughout your stay to help with any questions you might have, and will attempt to help wherever possible. We can help to arrange airport transfers and also parking. Stansted Mountfitchet is 3 miles from Stansted Airport, but is not in the flight path and therefore remains a lovely village with country walks, a village green and windmill. There are many other towns and villages of interest in the area including Saffron Walden, Manuden, Rickling Green and Clavering, all with lovely country pubs and walks. Bishops Stortford also has a Cinema, Theatre, leisure centre and larger shopping opportunities. The barn is 5 minute walk to the train station, for trains to London or Cambridge and it is only one stop to Stansted Airport. We would consider a longer or regular let for a single professional needing flexible accommodation.
