Cheerful double bedroom in tranquil house

Backing on to a lake, our home offers a quiet, restful retreat, one mile from town and a 15 minute walk from Festival Leisure. Often described as a tardis, the house is spacious and bright with a modern decor. Free WiFi and help yourself to tea, coffee and cereal. Please note Hot tub is not available from Oct to May. There is good street parking in our qiuet cul-de-sac and local shops are a 5 min walk. We are double jabbed and are pet free. Our home is an oasis, situated a mile from Basildon town centre in a quiet cul-de-sac. The house backs on to an ancient moat named in the doomsday book, and attracts an array of birds and wildlife. (Terry the terapin is often at the backdoor). Your room is situated at the front of the house, and is fitted with a blackout blind (keeping the room cool on hot days) and has a comfortable king size bed. The bathroom has undergone total renovation and now has a stunning walk in shower (please note it is not fully finished as of Jan, and will be contining into Feb). Fresh towels are included. As are hot drinks, cereal and toast, which can be made in the kitchen. Communal areas include kitchen, dining room, bathroom and garden. Hot tub is available during summer months subject to weather and chemicals. Guests are more than welcome to use the communial areas; kitchen including the washing machine if you're staying for a week or more and the dinning area. This is our home and whilst we welcome you, we ask you don't treat us as if we are your servants. We have a garden over looking the moat with a day bed and hot tub, you're more than welcome to use if available. Don't mind socialising with guests, it's great to get to know new people. Happy to cook breakfast and dinner for an extra charge subject to availability, just ask and if we can we will. Our lounge and bedroom are private areas Quiet, tranquil area, where you can hear the birds sing and the fountain on the lake. It really is an oasis in the heart of Basildon. Great parking. Car journey or bus from either train line into London. Great cycle route to the coast, just 11 miles away. Festival Leisure and Basildon Town Centre are a mile away. Basildon Hospital just under two miles, but with a bus route straight there. We are pet free. I am happy to cook, a full English breakfast or a tasty dinner etc, just ask (24 hours notice is required and a additional charge applies). There is also a range of cereals/toast, and hot drinks for you to enjoy included in the price of your room.
