A welcoming green oasis on the erge of the city

Resume The studio is located in a rural farmhouse on the outskirts of Groningen. A fantastic place to use as a base to work or relax, or explore the city, northern provinces and islands of Schiermonnikoog and Borkum (Germany). The studio is complete, tasteful and luxuriously furnished. In addition to the rental of 2 studios, we have a large green yard with an orchard, small horse stable, chickens and a sweet dog (Friese Stabij). Other: everything is on the ground floor and we have free parking. This guesthouse is fully furnished, with a luxury kitchen and private bathroom. In the kitchen younhave access to an induction hob,refrigerator, dishwasher, combi microwave, Senseo, coffee machine and kettle. There is al lot of storage. It is possible to use the adjacent garden. It is used in common. This guesthouse is also suitable for langer stays. The barn is used in common, and offers space to park the bicycles. Through the barn you enter the guest house. There is also a “laundry room” (washing machine, ironing board, iron, drying rack) available, which you can use in consultation. The garden adjacent to the quest house is shared. See also other comments. Overview The farmhouse is located on the edge of the city of Groningen, 5 km from the center. The house is completely surrounded by greenery. There is a garden, but also an orchard and horse pasture. Nearby is Meerstad, a new neighborhood with a beautiful big lake and a beach. Lewenborg Shopping Center is 1 km away. Transport options There is public transport 290 meters away (bus). Groningen train station is 5 km away. Bicycles can be rented there. We are close to a bicycle junction (91) and a P and R site. We have free parking in the yard. Shared scooters can be rented in the area and in the city. In consultation and for a fee it is possible to: - provide your breakfast (costs 11 euros p.p.) - use the washing machine (costs 5 euros, incl. detergent) Extra cost: toerist tax of 3,70 Euro pp,pn must be paid on the spot.
