25 minutes by car from downtown Amsterdam our pyramid roofed house, formerly a farm directly on the Marker lake in a beautiful, que When needed, we reserve a shelf in the refrigerator and guests can use the kitchen. 4 seasons beautiful quiet countryside surrounded by water in easy reach to the city centre. Fast bus to Amsterdam at about 1km distance. Slow scenic bus 3x a day to Purmerend in front of the house. Bus runs every 15 min in the daytime, 35 min evenings. Nightbus every hour Thursday through Saturday. Bicycle could be available. You'll find enough parkingspaces in the nearby vecinity if you don't dare to drive down the dike on to our driveway ;-) 3 times a day a small countrybus passes our house, which drives through the beautyful countryside to Purmerend from wher you can take either train or busses to Amsterdam or the rest of the country. Though faster is a walk or cycle of about one kilometer to a fast bus which brings you within 35 minutes to the centre of Amsterdam. Last day bus leaves Amsterdam at 00:50 and on thursdays,fridays and saturdays there is a night bus running.
