A fabulous beauticians, book and vinyl music shop next door to pamper and entertain. Within a 5 minute walk and you are down the stunning "Torrs". A natural 70 foot gorge. Walk across the Millennium Bridge walkway over the River Goyt. A perfect location for walkers and visitors to the surrounding Peak Distric. Hayfield and Kinder Scout only 10 minutes away. Buxton, Chatsworth, and Bakewell all accessible by car. Lyme Park and The Cage in Disley is 10 minutes away. Then there is Manchester in the other direction with the vibrant city life only 40 minutes train journey away. So much to do we hope your return time and time again. New Mills has two train stations and a bus station in the centre less than 5 minutes walk. Trains and buses to Manchester one way and Sheffield the other so plenty of places and adventures to be experienced. The second train station New Mills Newtown is 1 mile away and leads to Manchester city centre. The other direction will take you to Buxton which is a spa town with a wonderful opera house to entertain and beautiful gardens to wander. Parking is free outside property but no car is needed if you want to take full advantage of the public transport literally on the doorstep.
