Tent in the heart of desert

Welcome to the Sahara Peace bivouac ! Whether for a night or several days, venturing into the desert is a strong experience for many of us. We look forward to welcoming you to share, during your stay, our life in the desert. We are specialized in organizing hikes and trekking with camels. Bivouacs under the stars, tasty cuisine, a varied landscape, we put at your service a competent, experienced and happy team to share with you their love and knowledge of the desert. The stable bivouac is a camp permanently established in the Sahara. Between dunes and mountains, Sahara Peace's, an hour's walk from the road, consists of 5 "tents" for sleeping, built of traditional materials of earth and straw. A place for meals, a kitchen, and a small sanitary block with 2 showers (hot water possible) and 2 toilets. The whole thing is comfortable, simple and clean. Living in the bivouac for a night, a week or a month is certainly a total change of scenery and a beneficial return to simplicity. Established in the middle of the desert between dunes and mountains, our bivouac is located between the villages of Tagounite and M'hamid. 450 km from Marrakech, 3 hours from Ouarzazate, 1 hour from Zagora. Whether you come by bus, taxi or private car, we will make an appointment to welcome you and guide you to the camp . At Sahara Peace's bivouac, we do our best to welcome you and make you feel comfortable, but we are of a discreet nature and we will always respect your tranquility. You will decide how you want to experience your stay with us! The camp is located on the edge of a cordon of dunes, not far from a mountainous relief, and towards the plain, the view is endless. In Erg Lihoudi, you can see camels and wild donkeys passing by. Welcome to this peaceful, open, silent space, which is tinged with soft colours at sunset. Sahara Peace's bivouac is an ideal starting point for hikes of a few hours or treks of several days. Finally, it is a privileged place to organize personal development courses, such as yoga or dance. To join us, there are several solutions: The bus, from Ouarzazate or Marrakech (departure around 11am from the CTM station of Marrakech), the taxi, or the private car. If you have your own vehicle: we will make an appointment to welcome you and guide you to the camp. If you come by public transport: Get off the bus at M'Hamid and we will organise your arrival at the camp either on foot, on camelback or in a 4x4. (Contact us for conditions). Feel free to ask us for more precise information! I was born in the desert, where my parents lived the nomadic life. We have our own culture and lifestyle. I would like to share all this with those who are interested. What is most important to me is to make you feel what desert life really is and to allow you to get in touch with the nomadic people.
