Misty Morning Cottages #6 on Moosehead Lake

Misty Morning Cottages is located directly on Moosehead Lake and Route 6/15 with amazing views of Mt. Kineo, the Spencer Mountains and much more! Our location is one of the best fishing destinations for both open water and ice fishing seasons because each of our cottages are just steps away from Moosehead Lake! Cottage six offers a cozy and comfortable, studio-style living space. Everything you need is at your fingertips. This area is outfitted with a double bed, a fully equipped kitchenette and a private bathroom with a standup shower. Our heat source is a thermostatically controlled propane monitor heater. We have a private concrete boat launch, breakwater docks and a canoe available for our guests to use at no additional charge. There are a couple of kayaks available to rent as well. We live on site year round, so we are typically here to get you checked into and out of your cottage. If you need something while you're staying with us, we are a short distance away ready to help make your stay pleasant! Moosehead Lake is the largest lake located in one state this side of the Mississippi! During your stay with us we encourage you to explore as much of the 100 sq. mile lake as you possibly can! If you're patient and keep your eyes peeled you're likely to sneak a peek (or a photograph if you're lucky!) of a Moose, Deer, Loons, Bald Eagles and Otters while you're here! When you head up north into the Maine woods you'll need a vehicle for transportation, but if you're an outdoor enthusiast bring along a boat, kayak, ATV, snowmobile and/or skis to enjoy the Northwoods of Maine at it's best! While we do have internet/wifi available for our guests to use, the connection is not accessible in the cottages. However, guests are welcome to sit outside on our porch overlooking Moosehead Lake while using the internet. If you plan on having friends or family come visit for the day during your stay there is a $10/day per guest charge for the use of facilities.
