The sweet smell of Douglas pine and the sound of the neighbouring forrest will have you relaxed in no time. Take a swim in the ocean, a run in the forrest and a padle in the fjord. Have a chat with the local fishermen, enjoy some good food and feel the smooth pace of Bisserup. The house is centered around the large open kitchen and living room, that naturally draws to cooking and enjoying company. The house is big and spacious. The kitchen is stocked with all the basic ingredients at your disposal. There's a large room with a king size bed and plenty of space. A room with two single beds and an open loft with 4 mattresses. Duvets, pillows, linen, sheets and towels are at your disposal. You will have the house to yourself. I live in the house with my two boys, but we’ll stay a few blocks down at my parents house while you enjoy our house. The lawn continues into the forrest where great adventures awaits. There’s beaches for kids and for seclusion (1,5km). There’s a great fjord for kayaking and canoeing (kayaks and canoes can be arranged). There’s a small harbour bustling with activity (summertime). There’s an excellent fish restaurant (closed in the winter) and a jovial tavern. There’s a well stocked grocery 300m away. The house is on a very quiet road. There are many hidden gems in the area - so let me know if there’s anything in particular you would be interested in and I’ll make sure you have all the information and options available. Bisserup is fairly well connected via public transport (Bisserup Strand). 30Mbit internet. 55" TV connected the internet (no cable). Streaming speaker in the kitchen. Fully equipped kitchen with most machines. Pots and nonstick + cast pans. I have two boys (5 and 10) and their toys cater mostly to that gender (duplo, lego, playmobil, cars etc). Olympic barbell and heavy kettlebells for workouts. The indoor temperature is controlled through floor heating and can be set to your liking (upon request as the system is complicated). Some caveats: The floorheating causes the floor to squeak during cold weather. The floor is also a rather delicate and stains easily to redwine, grease and the likes. Sound carries to the bedrooms. The house is adjacent to the forest, so expect spiders, mosquitos and ticks in the warm season. In very hot weather the house can get warm inside.
