The place itself is very cozy and had all the basics I needed from towels to shampoo to coffee. Situated on a cute, quiet little street in Oak Park. The provided parking spot in the back lot was really convenient - I had a compact rental car so I had plenty of room to park. I had a nice, quiet, and relaxing stay here, would definitely come back!" The apartment was recently fully renovated and everything is new. The bedroom has a queen bed and the living room has a sofa sleeper if you need an additional bed. The bedding and linens are new and comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with everything you will need to prepare a meal or to use regularly during a long-term stay. Parking is available on the property. Pets are welcome with pre-approval (contact host). The apartment is professionally cleaned after each guest and we keep it spotless. The kitchen is stocked with everything you will need for a long-term stay. We provide a smart tv (Roku) and high-speed wireless internet. We also provide You Tube TV which has pretty much all the channels typical of a complete cable TV package. If you are staying longer than a week - we provide fresh linens and towels as needed. We maintain a management office nearby and we are available to assist you during business hours. These apartments are perfect for a weekend getaway, a long vacation, or a visit to town for business. You will have the entire apartment to yourself. We will provide instructions for access to the apartment via a lockbox which will be available 24/7. I own the building and manage the apartments located in the building. We have other buildings in the area and we have a management office nearby. We will be available during business hours to assist you in any way. After business hours, we will try to assist you as needed. This is apartment is located on a safe, friendly and historic tree-lined street in Oak Park. Neighboring homes include other apartment buildings, historic row-houses and homes. It is a short walk to downtown Oak Park with easy access to downtown Chicago via public transportation or by car. There are numerous Grocery stores within walking distance including Trader Joe's, Target, Whole Foods, and Jewel. There are many restaurants, bars and cafes - all too within walking distance. A stay at this apartment can easily be accomplished without a car. OAK PARK: Located just ten miles west of downtown Chicago - Oak Park has long been considered one of the most architecturally significant villages in the United States. The apartment is located in close proximity to 3 train lines with fast service to downtown Chicago: BLUE LINE CTA: is a 10 minute walk to the Harlem/Lake Blue Line Station in Forest Park. The Blue Line arrives in downtown Chicago (various stations) in approximately 23 minutes and then goes on to O’Hare Airport. GREEN LINE CTA: is a quick 4-5 minute walk to the Harlem/Lake Green Line Station in Oak Park. The Green Line arrives in downtown Chicago (various stations) in approximately 26 minutes. METRA: The Metra (Suburban Train Line) is a quick 4-5 minute walk to the Harlem/Lake Metra/CTA Station. The Metra train line arrives in downtown Chicago (Ogilvie Transportation Center) in approximately 15 minutes. PARKING: We have parking on the property if you arrive by vehicle. Please coordinate parking with the Host prior to your arrival. AIRPORTS: The apartment is centrally located between Midway and O’Hare airports. O’Hare is about 20-25 minutes by car. Midway is about 30-35 minutes by car. Also, you can get to and from O’Hare Airport using the Blue Line CTA which runs 24/7 between Forest Park and O’Hare Airport.
