Your comfortable, cosy & characterful bedroom has its own private bathroom & entrance. Your comfy king-size bed is surrounded by antique furnishings. Your views are into the quiet private garden. The house is perfectly positioned in the midst of this beautiful village at one end of the High Street so you can be at the village shop with its bijoux café or at the highly praised Thomas Lord pub in just one minute. You'll be welcome as a couple or a single guest. Please ask about pets. Your bedroom is in its own quiet sanctuary, tucked away by the side of the house, nestling in the garden by the brook (and the wendy house). Inside you'll be delighted with your comfort & privacy. From the garden, enter through your own door into your own hall and your beautiful bedroom is on your left looking back out into the garden. On the other side of the hall you'll find your own bathroom. I've lived in the house and in the village for 25 years and I'll be more than happy to talk about the area, local pubs, local towns & villages, walks, sight-seeing and so on... West Meon is a beautiful village in the South Downs National Park, an area of outstanding beauty. The South Downs are close by and we're just 2 miles off the South Downs Way. We're just three minutes walk from the Meon Valley Trail. We're surrounded by glorious countryside and beautiful Hampshire villages. The famous Thomas Lord pub is very close by with a fine menu, locally brewed beers and is always full of friendly locals & visitors. The village has a shop with a cafe and a butchers. By car Winchester & Petersfield are each about 15 minutes' drive, Alton is about 12 minutes and Southampton, Portsmouth & Guildford are all about half an hour away. I can provide off-street parking with notice. The bus stop with buses to Winchester & Petersfield is one minute's walk. Well behaved dogs are allowed although a £10 cleaning fee will be charged. Please ask about pets before you book. Please note breakfast is NOT included. The pub and the cafe in the village both do breakfast.
