Aeolia C Holiday Apartment on the beach, Marathon

Our house is located in Agia Marina, in a garden of 4000m² with Mediterranean vegetation, only 10m from the sea. Agia Marina is a small picturesque bay at the gulf of Southern Evia. It belongs to the district of Marathon and lies 40km from Athens. The water is cristal clear and shallow with a sandy bottom, ideal for children. Because of the location of the house one can combine a holiday by the seaside with sightseeing in Athens, Marathon and its surroundings. From the veranda, which faces the sea and the surrounding mountains, you have a beautiful view of the sunrise. If you want to go for a swim before breakfast or at midnight, it takes you only a minute to the beach. The apartment is furnished with marble floors and massive wooden furniture. The kitchen is fully equipped. The electrical devices are new. Each apartment has a separate veranda, kitchenette and bathroom. On the property there is a garden shower and parking. During summer season (July and August) I am around and personally available for my guests. Otherwise, you can always reach me on the phone. Archaeological Sites: Akropolis of Athens (45km), Rhamnous 4km and Marathon (Museum, Tomb, Sanctuary of the Egyptian Gods) 10-15km For sport enthusiasts: in a distance of 7 km lies the National Park of Schinias with the Olympic Rowing and Canoeing Centre and the Beach Bars of Schinias with different water sports, beach volley etc. The long sandy beach is also suitable for a walk or for jogging. For nature lovers: Bird Watching in the National Park of Schinias. The wetland is the habitat of many bird species and passage area for migratory birds. Nea Makri 20km: small town with a fishing harbor and lots of cafe bars and restaurants; active nightlife during summer period; weekly market on Thursdays Access to the island of Evia by Ferry Boat. Mooring at 200m distance. The journey time is approx. 45 minutes. Bus service to Athens. 60 minutes to Metro. Agia Marina is located in the countryside of Attica. Therefore a car is necessary. A kiosk and a tavern are nearby.
