Private and with its own entrance, patio, hot tub pergola, garden space and stunning panoramic views, the Old Tractor Shed is currently our only rental property at Hall Farm so guests will be treated to a private luxury experience. We have made every effort to ensure guest privacy and comfort, and to create a cosy, modern 5* space for guests to hideaway and enjoy the breath-taking views. Inside you can cosy up in front of the wood-burning stove with a book, or enjoy the rolling views and spectacular sunsets from the wood-fired hot tub. When it is time to stretch your legs take a walk in the countryside, or venture to the pub, just a stone’s throw away. Our boutique holiday home can be enjoyed as a romantic break, a base for walking, a chilled staycation, a UK mini moon, or as a last-minute getaway. The Old Tractor Shed is a beautifully furnished barn conversion with an industrial loft-style interior. Guests enter into a spacious open plan living area where vaulted ceilings add a touch of grandeur. An elevation of fully double-glazed windows floods the room with natural light and showcases the magnificent view. Complete with underfloor heating throughout and zoned dimmable lighting, you can create the perfect ambience whichever corner of the space you choose to enjoy. The barn conversion offers a traditional wood-burning stove, with complimentary log store, underfloor heating and air-conditioning for Warner weather. The hand-crafted English leather sofa doubles as a sofa bed and is perfect for extra guests, complete with additional memory foam mattress topper and hollow fibre mattress topper too for extra comfort. For those who don’t want to leave the real world too far behind this lodge offers Wi-Fi, Smart TV plus SONOS speaker, bluetooth speaker and charging cables for both iPhone and Android devices. The bedroom boasts a king size ottoman bed with a luxury handmade British pillow-top, pocket-sprung mattress, complemented by duck feather duvet and a choice of pillows with super smooth, luxury 1000 thread count cotton bedding. We have positioned a full-length mirror, with power socket to the side, with hair dryer and straighteners both provided so you can pack light. The room also features a TV and charging cables for both iPhone and Android. The modern kitchen is fully equipped, complete with Bosch and Neff appliances, integrated washer-dryer and Nespresso machine. You can pre-arrange breakfast hampers or a local artisan flavours hamper to be delivered for your arrival. The Bosch oven is a compact microwave combination model so not perfect for a full family roast but ideal for simple food. The bathroom is an oasis of luxury with its walk-in rainfall shower, heated towel rail and large drawered vanity unit complete with perfect 'selfie' lighting. Bath towel bales and hot tub towels are all included and will be ready for your arrival. Toiletries are provided from the wonderful Rituals range. Robes can be supplied on request at a small hire charge and come with complimentary spa slippers. Outside - take in the uninterrupted panoramic views across to the standards at Bosworth Battlefield can be enjoyed from the secluded outdoor seating area of the Old Tractor House. Complete with authentic wood-fired hot tub, relaxed seating and BBQ (available summer months) this space is as striking as the interior. Relaxing in your own hill top garden you can enjoy the view of horses grazing and our recently rewilded conservation wetland area with its array of plants and wildlife and the spectacular sight of soaring birds of prey. It can get a little windy on our hilltop, so we have created a wonderful sheltered pergola with relaxed seating in a little more shelter to enjoy the views from the wood fired hot tub*. You can look across our 13 acres of private farmland, with footpath access to the Ashby canal towpath and beyond. Just a stone’s throw away is the village pub, perfect for an afternoon drink or dinner if you don’t feel like cooking. Or there are good walks to other villages and pubs for more active guests. The hot tub will be lit for guests’ arrival*. A store of logs is complimentary. Extra logs can be ordered at a small charge. New for June 2021 is our Trek mountain bike hire - we can deliver your bikes to your gate for a day cycling in the Leicestershire countryside. We can also provide bespoke guest packages including fluffy robes, hotel slippers, flowers delivered for your arrival by our on-site florist, and hampers. Just ask and we can arrange anything you need to make you stay complete. There are a choice of excellent day spas in the area so why not book a spa day and let us prepare the hot tub for your return. This property is suitated on our family farm. We have horses, chickens and three exuberent, but very friendly dogs. Whilst we will take measures to keep the dogs contained and away from the rental, normal family life goes on within our yards & fields, and guests may from time to time see and hear us and our dogs. If guests have a phobia of dogs we suggest contacting us prior to booking as a farm stay may not be suitable but we can discuss. * PLEASE NOTE that adverse winter weather can affect heating and use of the hot tub as our hill top location is quite exposed. Enjoy on-site parking at Hall Farm for up to 4 cars, for the duration of your stay. The footpath onto the Ashby Canal passes across our fields so walkers can take off for the a short ramble or for the day. Guest can explore the local villages on foot. We also offer bike hire for guests wanting to venture further. Dadlington is not on a bus route so a car is essential for going further than the surrounding villages. We have good road links to the M6, M1 , M42 and NEC, Birmingham, Coventry and Leicester. The nearest supermarket is 8 mins drive, the nearest town of Hinckley is 10 mins and the local convenience is a 3 mins drive or a 15 minute walk ( limited opening times). Market Bosworth is a gorgeous small market town with independent shops, pubs and restaurants - 10 min drive. Pubs: Dadlington offers the Dog & Hedgehog (limited opening days) Stoke Golding (a 15 min walk) has three pubs; The Swan (limited hours, no food) the Three Horseshoes offers drinks, football and sport TV, with the Mango Tree Indian restaurant in the same building. The George & Dragon offers relaxed drinking and dining. A slightly further 40 min walk or 4 min drive is Sutton Cheney where you will find the fabulous Hercules Revived with its chilled indoor or outdoor dining vibe and gastro menu. Should you require anything at all just give us a call. We are happy to provide a full concierge service should guests require it during their stay. We can arrange guest transfers if required. Set in the cente of Dadlington, The Old Tractor Shed is literally a stone's throw from the Dog & Hedgehog pub and a short drive (or good walk for active guests) from pubs & restaurants in nearby Sutton Cheney and Stoke Golding. Close to the towns of Market Bosworth, Hinckley and Nuneaton, our farm fields are within the edge of the Bosworth Battlefield so guests wanting to experience the history of the Battle can do so easily by foot or by car. There is so much to do and enjoy right on our doostep and throught Leicestershire and North Warwickshire. From country houses and parks such as Bradgate and Calke Abbey, to Twycross Zoo, Drayton Manor theme park and the Behr Grylls Experience. Locally we have the most beautiful villages with artisan makers and independent shops to visit. Our website gives full lists of all the places to go and to eat. We can provide daily cleaning and laundry services during your stay should you require them. These can be booked with us directly following your booking. We also offer bespoke guest packages including fluffy robes, hotel slippers, flowers delivered for your arrival by our on site florist, and local produce hampers. There are many things to do around this historic area - bike hire is available on site and we will also be offering a range of walking and cycling tours with local historian Legions to Legends (please check for reopening of the tours). Just ask and we can arrange anything you need to make you stay complete. Hall Farm is a quiet venue offering relaxing stays to couples and groups of four people. To ensure we respect our small rural village community, we have house rules about noise and hot tub use. Due to the quiet location on our farm, we are not the ideal venue for guests wanting to party in the hot tub.
