The Green Tour - view and discuss the green energy systems (solar panels, biomass boiler, spring water, insulation, recycling) The Farlands Sustainability Challenge Sustainability has always been important to us: we’ve had a wood pellet boiler and solar panels for almost a decade. However, we need and want to do more! We are starting with single-use plastic, and we’d like you to help during your stay in the cottage, by: 1. Using glass milk bottles (we will leave a pint of semi-skimmed milk in your fridge; and you can order additional milk via us before you arrive) 2. Lining the kitchen bin with newspaper 3. Avoiding during your stay the top 4 plastic takeaway items: plastic bags, plastic bottles, straws and coffee cups Please let us know if you’d like to take the Farlands Sustainability Challenge, and if you do, remember to order your milk via us.
