Guest House @ Mission Farm, quiet, farm setting

18 minutes to down town Chapel Hill/Franklin Street or historic & quaint downtown Pittsboro. Relax in a beautiful farm house on 10 acres near the Haw River with rolling pastures, woods, chickens, ducks, cows and and pond views. GREAT couple weekend getaway, those traveling to UNC/Duke sporting events, families with kids. Will consider single night weekend stays within 4 weeks requested night. The Cottage at Mission Farm is now also available for rent for additional 4 people House has beds for 8 people. COST OF HOUSE PER NIGHT IS FOR 8 PEOPLE. THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE PER PERSON OVER 8 with a MAX OF 10 ADULTS. (babies/toddlers will not impact this). sheets/pillows/blankets will not be provided for 5th queen murphy bed without prior conversation WHY ARE WE RENTING THIS HOUSE: The home for rent is the planned future supported home for our 19 year old son with Down syndrome, but for now we are renting it through Airbnb to help raise funds for this project. The whole house. Private drive, parking, porch, fire pit, wood burning fireplace, pond, goats and more. PLEASE NOTE: There are tractors and mowers being used on the property. Please use caution. Also occasional farm smells. FOR YOUR PERSONAL SAFETY: Keep off large mowers, farm equipment and ATVs stored in the barn We will provide key code when you are a few days from checking in, but will not be there to meet you when you are checking in/out. Should you have any problems, we will be there to assist in anyway. Dogs are welcome - we have 1 crate for your use. No aggressive breeds per our insurance. We also live on the property and have 2 very friendly dogs that might come up to visit. If this is an issue, please let us know and they can be fenced in their back yard. There is much serenity here and ask that you be respectful and not play load music outside past 11pm There are three un-fenced ponds on the property - please keep an eye of young children. Guests may fish in ponds - no fishing poles provided 15 minutes to Carrboro/Franklin Street (UNC Chapel Hill campus; Pittsboro and the Haw River Ballroom in Saxapaw. Parking for multiple cars. No public transportation House has all new linens and towels and fully equipped kitchen. We will provide coffee, cream, and farm fresh eggs (when girls are laying). Basic cooking supplies provided as well. (oil, salt, etc). Parking for 4 cars. parking space for RV (but no h2o or power hook-up)
