Villa Melenia is an excellent home only 40 minutes from Athens and in close proximity to the wonderful sandy beach of Marathon Schinias.The house is surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens filled with trees and colorful flowers and with a lot of places with shade. The left side garden features a fully equipped BBQ to cook a nice meal for your family.Next to the barbecue there is a built-in bar in the shady area so you can enjoy cool juices and relax and right next for your convenience there is an outdoor toilet with shower and warm water . The villa has a large swimming pool with ample terracing perfect for sunbathing with comfortable sun loungers and tables to enjoy your breakfast meal.The whole house is literally drowned in grass and trees that provide you privacy. The interior of the house has large openings bringing natural light into the residence. The wood ceilings give an aristocratic atmosphere to the house and really make it cozy. On the ground floor there are 3 large and very comfortable bedrooms tastefully decorated, each one has its own character and a private veranda. The fourth bed is located on the upper level, this room has its own private terrace overlooking the pool and is orienting to enjoy the sunset.In the area of the pool you will also find a bathroom. The organized sandy beach of Schinias is close to the house and offers plenty of choices for water sports and beach activities. The area has also restaurants and coffee bars to taste the local specialties. A visit to Marathon Lake is highly recommended, where you can have a stroll around the Dam or have a lunch at the restaurant which has a breathtaking view over the lake.
