Greenway Home
A private room and hallway access to the bathroom on the upper level of a split level home directly adjacent to the Greenway. Go for a hike or bike ride on the Greenway. Very nice and quiet neighborhood. Have a good cup of coffee to start your day. Our home is directly across the street from the Greenway, giving you access to 20 miles of biking and hiking trails for morning or evening runs. Your bikes can be stored in our garage ready to ride out, cross the street, and onto the trails. In a short while you will cross the Red River on the beautiful new pedestrian bridge and be in North Dakota. At dusk, one will invariably spot deer on this path. We have a well-trained, quiet, small half-lab which is not allowed in the guest room. Cocoa will only bark to announce visitors, but then is very friendly. Guests have access to a private bedroom with a full-sized bed. It is located on the upper level of our split level home. An adjoining den with a fold-out couch is yours for reading or lounging. This can serve as an extra bedroom, for an additional charge, if needed. A private bathroom is just down the hall. Our upstairs kitchen can be used, but is shared with the hosts. Members of the household sleep on the lower level of the house. We tend to be in and out, so we will not be able to interact too much. We try to be quiet after about 10pm. There is a Tesoro gas station and convenience store just a few blocks away. Aside from that, the neighborhood is entirely residential and tucked away from the rest of the city. There is public transit on both sides of the river in the Grand Cities, but it is infrequent. A car or bike is recommended. We have a large deck facing the North Dakota side of the Red River. Feel free to enjoy views of the river. There is a large garden in the yard, one could always help with weeding and pick raspberries in season.
