18th Century Cottage B&B - The Print Room

Welcome to Woodleys Farmhouse, a beautiful 18th century farm cottage, standing in its own grounds with beautiful gardens and views across the open countryside. Ideally situated near the market town of Woburn Sands, the historic town of Woburn, and the major new city of Milton Keynes. Superb links to all national and international locations. Our twin room is much more than just 2 single beds in a comfy space. Just take a look & you'll see why we've called it the Print Room. Walls lined with a fascinating, eclectic mix of pics & posters, accumulated over the years. Metal bedsteads, hand painted furniture & our signature decor touches, we're sure you'll agree the Print Room is an experience in itself! The room also benefits from its private shower room next door, views of the cottage garden, complimentary water, tea and biscuits. Our guests are welcome to use all the extensive grounds and patios of the farmhouse and the fields beyond, observing any notices regarding private land and access. Please note that these spaces are shared with other guests and your Farmhouse neighbours. We live off-site in the immediate local area, however the property has immediate neighbours who occupy the main Farmhouse. On arrival, guests may retrieve their keys via the ‘key safe’ by the front door of the bungalow (a code is issued for the safe, soon before the booking date). If you prefer us to be present on your arrival, this can also be arranged. We are typically able to attend the premises within 15 mins if required. For non-urgent questions and enquiries, we are always happy to assist, and will be available til 8pm by phone, text or email 7 days per week. Woodleys Farmhouse is set in its own beautiful grounds, complete with ponds, fruit trees and lovely views across open fields and countryside. A short walk takes you to the traditional market town of Woburn Sands, with plenty of local amenities and great restaurants and takeaways. A few miles down the road there's the historic town of Woburn, with its stately home, safari park and golf. All in all, it's country heaven! Woodleys is very well served by local transport links. We're close to both J13 and J14 of the M1, and just 30 minutes to Luton Airport. Central London is an hour by car, or just 30 minutes from Milton Keynes Central rail station (20 mins away). If you fancy exploring the local area by public transport, a 15 minute walk takes you into Woburn Sands, which is well served by various bus services. Or there's Woburn Sands train station (a 25 minute walk), with local links, plus connections to Bedford, London and far beyond.
