Cinderella's loft in between Brussels and Ghent

On the ground floor you enter the house and you immediately take the stairs to the first floor.There is the bedroom,bathroom and toilet.Then you go upstairs through the fixed attic stairs and you enter the loft.You can stay in this cozy space.You have the seating area, dining table and kitchen area.The door of the large round window brings you to the terrace. You have to climb two stairs to get to the loft.The 2nd bed is in the sittingarea. A little dangerous for children,so only babies allowed. It is a very cozy house, where it is nice to stay. Everything is in wood, which gives a warm pleasant feeling. All the rooms are furnitured in an old style. Keep in mind that there is only one bedroom with a double bed. The living room has a single bed and a double mattress. The double mattress is located in the reading corner, but can also be used as a bed if several people are staying. Books can be exchanged if you like. Het is een heel gezellig, knus huis. Boven in de loft is het leuk om te relaxen. Alles is in hout, wat een warm aangenaam gevoel geeft. Alle kamers zijn ingericht in een oude stijl. Nog even melden dat er maar 1 slaapkamer is met een dubbel bed. In de living staat een éénpersoonsbed en een dubbele matras. Die dubbele matras ligt in de leeshoek, maar kan dus ook worden gebruikt als bed indien er meerdere personen logeren. Eventueel kunnen er boeken worden geruild. The whole house is at your disposal. You can use all areas. Take care of everything please. Occasionally workshops are also given in the house. Here and there you will find what is used for these workshops, but these are not disturbing elements. Het hele huis is ter uwe beschikking. Alle ruimtes mag je gebruiken. Draag aub zorg voor alles. Er worden af en toe ook workshops gegeven in het huis. Hier en daar vind je gerief wat wordt gebruikt voor deze workshops, maar deze zijn geen stoorelementen. I don't live in the house, but not far away. So you can reach me any time on walkingdistance or I can easely come to you when you need me. I am flexible in arrival and departure times, but sometimes I also have appointments or I still have to do the cleaning of previous guests, so in that case, it is not possible to receive you early or leave late. Ik woon er niet, maar ik woon heel dichtbij. Je kan dus gemakkelijk een wandelingetje maken naar mijn huis of ik kan naar jullie toekomen als je me nodig hebt. Ik ben flexibel in aankomsturen en vertrekuren, maar soms heb ik ook afspraken of moet ik nog de opkuis doen van vorige gasten, waardoor het niet mogelijk is om jullie vroeg te ontvangen of laat te laten vertrekken. My village is rural and pleasant for walking or cycling. Closeby are two small towns. The sports hall, footballfields and library are nearby. The church is within walking distance. There are drink and dining options nearby with friendly service. The nearest city is Aalst, which is very famous for its carnival in February. From the airport, take the train to DENDERLEEUW. There you can take bus No. 32 to DENDERHOUTEM. You get off at the stop on the supermarket. From there you walk to my house. Vanuit de vlieghaven neem je de trein naar DENDERLEEUW. Daar kan je bus nr 32 nemen naar DENDERHOUTEM. Je stapt af aan de halte aan de Delhaize supermarkt. Vandaar wandel je naar mijn huis. I would like to emphasize that I only receive non-smokers in my house. No drugs and only limited alcohol consumption. Please respect this. The use of the loft and all its facilities is at your own responsibility. Guests can use the house in an ecological way. Gladly take care of everything, the furniture, rooms and all utensils. The kitchen can be used for cooking, but please leave tidy. No waste of water, electricity and other things. I take great care of our nature and do a lot of recycling. The waste is therefore sorted and preferably limited. Please also keep an eye on the use of lights and heating. The towels dry outside on the clothesline, so they are not soft towels, but apparently a rough towel is good for our skin ;-) If you like to use the washingmachine, you need to ask ahead and pay a fee of 5 euro per load. Ik zou willen benadrukken dat ik alleen niet-rokers in mijn huis ontvang. Geen drugs en slechts een beperkt alcoholgebruik. Gelieve dit te respecteren. Het gebruik van de loft en al zijn faciliteiten is op eigen verantwoordelijkheid. Gasten kunnen het huis op een ecologische manier gebruiken. Gelieve goed zorg te dragen voor alles, het meubilair, de kamers en alle keukengerei. De keuken kan worden gebruikt om te koken, maar laat ze alsjeblieft netjes achter. Geen verspilling van water, elektriciteit en andere dingen. Ik draag enorm veel zorg voor onze natuur en doe heel veel aan recyclage. Het afval wordt dus gesorteerd en liefst beperkt. Graag ook oog bij het gebruik van lichten en verwarming. De handdoeken drogen buiten aan de waslijn, waardoor het geen zachte handdoeken zijn, maar blijkbaar is een ruwe handdoek dan weer goed voor onze huid ;-) Er is een wasmachine aanwezig, maar deze kan enkel worden gebruikt op aanvraag en mits betaling van 5 euro per machine.
