The Townhouse, managed by the Guest House Inn on Courthouse Square, is located in the newest National Park, the New River Gorge National Park in the beautiful Hinton Historic District. This charming property offers 2 bedrooms, one and a half bath, and a spacious downstairs for the whole family. The Townhouse is one of many properties operated by the Guest House Inn on Courthouse Square and has all the amenities of home. We can easily accommodate families and business travelers alike. All of our properties are within walking distance of shopping, museums, and dining. The Townouse is a warm and cozy 2 bedroom property. Both bedrooms and the full bath are located upstairs. A half bath is located downstairs. The fully stocked kitchen and dining room are ample space to stretch out during your stay and enjoy time with family. Our cleaning staff follows all covid protocols and takes extra steps to ensure the safety of all our guests. Guests have full access to the entire Townhouse property during their stay. There is a backyard that is shared along with a courtyard in the neighboring property. There is an outdoor grill shared among all the properties. During Covid, we are offering a contactless entry to all properties. The hospitality specialist will text the lockbox code to guests on the day of their arrival. We can be available when needed for our guests and are always a phone call away. Should you call after business hours, you will most likely be greeted by our answering service. If you have a need, simply let them know and they can direct it to the appropriate person on call. The Guest House Inn is conveniently located in the heart of the downtown Hinton historic district in Summers County WV. A one time bustling railroad community is now a charming downtown with brick lined streets, eclectic shops, and old architecture all nestled along the banks of the New and Greenbrier rivers. The confluence of the Bluestone, New, and Greenbrier rivers form the southern West Virginia gateway of the mighty New River in Summers County. Outdoor recreational adventure abounds in and around Hinton. Summers County is one of only a few counties in West Virginia that offers kayakers, floaters, and fisherman 16 public access sites along the banks of the Greenbrier and the New. With the combination of natural beauty and historic charm, Hinton is the hidden jewel of Summers County. Hinton is 11 miles from Interstate 64 and approximately 45 minutes away from two airports in neighboring counties. The traffic pattern in town is made up of one way and two way city blocks which is very easy to navigate. Amtrak has a designated stop at the Hinton Train Depot that is 4 blocks away from the Guest House Inn on Courthouse Square. Amtrak does not provide ticketing or baggage services at this station, which is served by the tri-weekly Cardinal (Westbound: Sunday, Wednesday, Friday; Eastbound: Wednesday, Friday, Sunday). The bedrooms are located up a flight of 18 steps.
