Located in the secure estate of Dunkirk, in the seaside town of Salt Rock. Our home has a spacious downstairs living area which flows out to a lovely large deck with pool and garden. There are 4 generous sized bedrooms. Bedroom 1 with a king bed and ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 with a queen bed. Bedroom 3 with two single beds. Bedroom 4 with a queen bed. There is a full bathroom with bath & shower and an additional guest toilet. Dunkirk Estate is a short 3 minute drive to Salt Rock beach. You will love our beautiful, light and spacious fee standing double storey home. We have a pool, lawned garden, and large decked outside entertainment. Modern and open plan living area, dining and kitchen with hidden scullery. The main bedroom is en-suite with a separate dressing room. There are a further 3 spacious bedrooms which share a full bathroom. Our home is suitable for bookings with 4 adults and 4 children. The house overlooks a greenbelt and natural forest. On the deck is a Weber braai, sun loungers and comfortable seating area to enjoy the view. Within the estate and walking distance from the house is Ray's Kitchen which is undoutably one the best restaurants on the North Coast. There are equisite forest walks, fishing in the dam and a family clubhouse with pool and braai facilities. Dunkirk Estate is a short 5 min drive from the main Salt Rock Beach, Granny's Pool and Tiffany's Beach. The Dunkirk Forest Clubhouse has a pool. Tennis courts are also situated in the estate, as are beautiful forest walks and walking trails around the estate. We will not be on the property during your visit, but you are welcome to contact us by cellphone if you need assistance. Salt Rock offers holidaymakers a unique mixture of relaxation and fun activities. There are mountain bike trails at Holla Trails, gorgeous beaches, top class restaurants and a wide range of entertainment for kids. Dunkirk Estate is just a short drive from the beach. It is a family orientated estate with a restaurant, children's playground, pool, nature trails and forest walks, all set within the beautiful coastal surroundings of the KZN northcoast. You can walk safely around the estate and across the road to the New Salt Rock Shopping Centre. We would advise driving to the beaches due to the busyness of the roads. We have two cats that live on the property. They will not be on the property during your stay. Bath towels are provided, however, please bring your own beach towels. Our wonderful housekeeper Siphiwe will service the house on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays betweeen 9am - 1pm. Her duties include making the beds, sweeping and dusting, and cleaning the bathrooms and kitchen, and washing and putting away dishes.. Additional servicing days can be arranged. The daily servicing charge is ZAR220per day, which is NOT included in the booking cost. The charge will be calculated and communicated to you prior to your arrival. It will need to be paid in cash at the end of your stay. Servicing is compulsory. Ironing is not included in Siphiwe's daily charge. if you require ironing to be done, this can be done after 1pm and at an additional charge of R5 per item, please speak to Siphiwe directly to arrange. Dunkirk Estate rules stipulate that guests may not bring pets into the Estate, and guests may not have access to the Dunkirk Beach Clubhouse, Gym or Clubhouse Pool. These rules were voted in by he Dunkirk Estate Homeowners in 2018. We cannot break these rules as we will be liable to a fine and may have the privilege to airbnb our home taken away. Guests do have access to the Forest Clubhouse and Tennis Courts.
