Le Pressoir, Self catering cottage

This detached self-catering accommodation overlooks a cider orchard which is typical of this area of Normandy. It is ideal for either a couple or a family Situated in a small hamlet with direct access to a quiet, local footpath you are just a few steps away from a pleasant walk with scenic views. To help keep our guests safe we are following an enhanced cleaning routine. Downstairs the open plan living area is equipped with kitchen facilities ( fridge, gas cooker, washing machine and sink) and a dining table. There is also comfortable seating where you can relax. Please note that there is not a television in Le Pressoir. Steeper than average, wooden stairs lead up to the mezzanine bedroom. This bedroom is light and airy and has a comfortable king size bed and a single bed. Leading off from this is a smaller bedroom with twin beds. A travel cot is available on request. The shower/toilet leads off from the main bedroom. You have your own garden area and can access shared areas such as the orchard where you can sit under the apple trees and read a book. I live on site and am available to help if guests have questions regarding local places of interest, shopping and recreational activities. The accommodation is located in a small hamlet and is perfect for guests who appreciate nature and the countryside. We are 5 minutes drive (50 mins by foot) from the nearby small town of Tinchebray There are not any public transport links to my village so your own transport is necessary to enable you to visit the various places of interest in the area. Parking is on site. WI-FI : There is not a television in this accommodation but free WI-FI is available. ACCESSIBILITY: The stairs in the accommodation are steeper than average and are not suitable for guests with impaired mobility PETS: Please contact me prior to bringing a pet as is mentioned in the House Rules BREAKFAST can be provided but please give 1 days notice. The cost is 7€/pp ELECTRICITY: 8kw/day is included in the tariff. Excess electricity used is charged at a rate of 0.18 Euros / kw used. HEATING is electric so please bear in mind that there may be an additional cost to you during winter months. CLEANING: Guests are kindly asked to leave the gite clean and tidy at the end of their stay. A cleaning service is available if required.
