Firdove Studio is suitable for those that like enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside with lovely views stunning sunrise's But is also near Glyndebourne, Historic Lewes and cosmopolitan Brighton. Situated in a quiet country lane with lovely walks on your doorstep. There is a main bus route 5 minutes away So a car is not necessary or just as a rest from driving and parking. If it's Cricket on a village green the razzmatazz of Brighton or some Puccini and Picnic at Glyndebourne it's here The studio is very accessible to Historic Houses The coast The South Downs country Park Historic Lewes Regency Brighton and much much more you will not run out of things to do. There is a garden for guests use at the bottom of the stairs. Also guests can sit in the orchard a choice between sun and shade. There is a BBQ and Fire Bowl in the store in the garden and bicycles for the energetic We Live on the property so are here to help at any time. We will let guests know if we are away for their visit We are at the top of a quiet Lane with a farm next door. Opposite there is a horse Livery yard so horses are frequently up the lane. You can walk to the village with with its range of shops Two pubs The Anchor in the village wich includes a small supermarket, bakery, Café, Curry House, Dominoes Pizza, Fish and chip shop, wine shop, Hairdressers, beauty salon and chemist in about 20 min walk or to the Green Man pub for a meal in 15 minutes. In the summer there is cricket on the village green most weekends. The Bus stop is only a 5 minute walk down the Lane with buses to Lewes /Brighton every 1/2 hour. Lewes has a train station with train to London in approximately I hour. We also have bicycles available on request .There is a car hire business in the village phone no on request.
