Everything needed for your comfort in 1850 Victorian home in Grass Valley's active, peaceful downtown area. I'm vaccinated. No cleaning fee added on. There is no cancellation fee. You park in the driveway just up from the house. Private entrance through a patio to two private rooms plus a half bath. There is a shared bathroom with shower adjacent to your suite. Walking distance to town and many events. Wifi. Bedroom with comfortable queen size bed, mattress warmer, desk and dresser. Views of yard from all your rooms. Extra linens and towels. Bathroom has towels, shampoo, lotion, sunscreen, toothpaste and more available. Sitting room with butler's pantry includes toaster, coffee maker, small blender, food warmer and water kettle. Dishes, flatware, glasses, wine glasses and more. Seasonal fruit, organic bread, butter and jam, milk, juice, coffee and all the fixings are available. Plus other little snacks. A shower in main bathroom adjacent to your space with shampoo and lotions. Your private lighted patio, yard and shared front porch. There are local publications, tourist ideas, local menus, hiking information and maps available for you. Also available up request are some exercise equipment, iron and board. And other items you'll just need to inquire about! Know that there is no A/C. However, the house stays remarkably cool using the windows, curtains and the cool night air. You will receive directions and phone numbers and a detailed email from me with information about the suite after making your reservation. We can communicate easily through texting. After you park in the driveway just up from the house, please walk down Maiden Lane to the main entrance near the wicker chairs and I will give you your key(s) and an informative "tour" to your own entrance door and into your suite of rooms. Your quarters are private. The remainder of the home is my private space. You will have your own patio area as well as access to the back yard and the large front porch. This is a sweet mixture of everything ~ people-wise, house-wise, town-wise. Great walking area any time of day or night. Easy 2 block walk to center of town. Shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, wine tasting rooms, brew pubs, Pilates and yoga studios and coffee houses and bakeries. Information in your suite. You can park your car in the driveway just up from the house. Easy walk to town. Miles of hiking trails within 1 to 4 miles. The amazing Yuba River and great swimming holes are 15 minutes from the house. Skiing in the winter. Or drive to Nevada City 4 miles north. Lovely little town day and evening.
