A beautiful log cabin in set in lovely mature gardens a short distance from the main house. Secure private parking in large driveway at front of main house. Recommended 2 mile walk through Penn woodland to the oldest pub in England, The Royal Standard. 20 mins drive to Cliveden House and National Trust Gardens, Odds Farm, and Hedsor House. 1 mile to Beaconsfield train station where 30 mins by train takes you to central London. Ideal for couple’s break, or individual get away Guest Access There is a pedestrian gate directly onto the Penn road, and a private garden area outside the lodge with gravel walkway back up to main house. Penn road is a fairly busy road and there can be road noise coming over the fence Facilities The small kitchen area does have a microwave/cooking oven, mini fridge, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and steamer (for rice/fish/vegetables) but the cabin is not fully equipped for cooking. It is more suited to guests that are trying some of the wonderful local restaurants. It also has a table football and table tennis table (the latter stows away in its own cupboard to keep out of the way when not in use). Washing machine and tumble drier are available in the outside cupboard. From February there will also be an outdoor sauna and patio area to use.
