Centrally located just about everything is in walking distance: restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, bank and ATMs. Ideal place right in the heart of the port of Andros Island! Portogavrio Apartment is a fully renovated space in 2019. This space will suit you if you like to be in town, with access to transport and shops. Also there are 2 beaches within walking distance (Liopesi a small quiet beach at 1km and Agios Petros a large popular beach with amenities at 1.3km). We would be delighted to give you advice, suggestions and recommendations for restaurants, bars etc. We also provide suggested itineraries with detailed information to help make the most of your time in Andros. Gavrio town is the port of Andros Island, there is a marina, restaurants, cafes, super markets, pharmacy, bank, ATMs, shops, bakeries, etc... all in a cosy little bay. There is public transport buses from Gavrio to Andros town, Batsi and Korthi. There are many car and motorbike rental companies. Andros is famous for its walking trail network. Gavrio is the only ferry port of the Island with many daily connections to Athens and the rest of the Cyclades.
