Read our reviews, book it before someone else does! This quiet room on the top floor of a historic home in the city provides privacy and comfort during your stay. With lots of charm and modern amenities, you'll feel at home right away in this restored and updated home. Adjacent to a city park and steps to downtown, this home is a convenient place to use as a home base during your stay in Mount Clemens and the surrounding areas. Our large backyard with a wood burning swedish fireplace is a great place to unwind from your day. You will be given your own key code to enter the home. We welcome guest in the living room, dining room, kitchen and backyard. The suite is private and located on the top floor. We are typically home at most times of the day or can be reached 24/7. The suite is private after entering our home. Our little dogs will make a fuss until you stop to say hello to them. They're just excited to see you. For guest staying multiple weeks, we do weekly cleanings to ensure the cleanliness of our space and make sure the room is stocked with essentials and you have clean sheets and towels. Our neighborhood is a collection of older homes with many long-time residents. There is a historic Ice Cream Shop at the opposite end of the park and an historic basement Speakeasy right behind our house. (Both are easy to walk to) The Clinton River wraps around us creating an island-like life for us. And downtown is just across the bridge. South River Rd is right behind us with many marinas and a large State Park boat launch on Lake St.Clair. Lake St.Clair Metropark is an easy bike ride or drive away as well with a beach, marina and a par 3 lakeside golf course to explore. Shopping, hospitals, bars, restaurants and more are minutes away by car. We offer Luxury Curbside Airport Transportation from Detroit or Flint Airports. Uber and Lyft are readily available in the area. Driving yourself? We are close to freeways making most of the Detroit area accessable easily. We have 2 small dogs that will announce your arrival. They are very friendly and loving. They just want to play with everyone. We ask that you don't let them out the front doors and we don't allow them upstairs with our guest but they have free reign everywhere else. We are close to Lake St Clair and can accommodate parking for a bass boat and truck.
