The Cabin (5 mins from Goodwood & the South Downs)

Just 5 mins from Goodwood, our cosy wooden cabin is set in the South Downs National Park, in a quiet and pretty village. Nestled in a peaceful, private spot at the edge of our garden with lovely views to the open countryside, the cabin gives a feeling of being away from it all and yet is only a 15 min drive to Chichester, a 30 min drive to the sandy beach at West Wittering and just a 3 minute stroll to the village pub. There are lots of lovely walks and cycle routes in the surrounding area. A light and airy private space in which to relax, get cosy, lie back and enjoy the views. The cabin has large opening doors to the west from which you can watch the sunset. Often you will see a barn owl fly by and we regularly spot woodpeckers, deer, foxes and badgers. There is a small private patio with table and chairs outside the cabin where you can sit in warmer weather. Inside, the cabin has a wood burning stove, electricity, heating and an en-suite shower room and kitchenette. Two single day beds provide seating during the day and can be pushed together if preferred. The beds have cosy sheepskin toppers and crisp cotton bedlinen. The apex ceiling giving a feeling of light and space. The kitchenette is equipped with plates, bowls, mugs, cutlery and glasses and there is a fridge with freezer section, a kettle and a coffee maker. A bbq can be provided on request. There is WiFi in the cabin and a basket of basics (tea, coffee, milk) for you to use during your stay. We live in the main house which is about 30 metres from the cabin and access is through the side of our garden. The cabin has its own garden area and is private from the main house. I offer self check-in and will send details in good time prior to your stay. There is an information folder in the cabin containing suggestions for things to do, places to visit and eating out, together with a selection of leaflets for local attractions. If you have any questions or need any help then I am always available either through Airbnb messaging or in person but otherwise I will leave you to enjoy your stay. Beautiful countrywide with lots of walks and cycle routes. Easy access to Goodwood, Petworth, Arundul and the beach. Two great local pubs. OS map and cycle route suggestions provided.
