The Library Mansion

Located in Dipignano (province of Cosenza, Calabria) in a palace of the 1800s, The Library - Guest House is an exclusive place where you can spend a quiet stay and relive the history of those who are our ancestors through our splendid library composed of titles ancient and modern. The house also offers a large garden (inhabited by a very friendly dog), an antique living room all surrounded by a splendid view of the Sila mountains. The Library with its 250 years of history offers our guests a splendid library with hundreds of antique books to consult. Furthermore, the library has a splendid balcony with a view of the mountains of the Sila heritage of the UNESCU. The entrance of the building could sometimes be shared with the caretaker who lives on the third floor, this does not involve sharing any space dedicated to guests except only the entrance and the stairwell. Each space dedicated to guests in addition to the entrance is strictly reserved for the use of guests only. The air conditioning is only available in some of the spaces of the house such as the library, being a very old building and located in the hills during the summer it is still very cool. Guests have access to the ground floor (entrance, a bedroom, bathroom, garden, kitchen, laundry room) and on the first floor (Library, living room 1, living room 2, bedrooms, main bathroom). I live now in Canada but my mother or the person who takes care of the house live on the third floor of the building and are available to guests when requested. The third floor of the house where the carer lives has the stairwell in common with the rest of the building, as well as having a separate entrance, in some rare cases it is possible to use the main entrance to access the third floor, all this without violating the peace and tranquility of the rooms occupied by guests.
