The apartment is quiet, chilled and a perfect base for a visit to Durham for both business & pleasure It has free Wifi throughout and a huge Smart TV in the lounge area. A travel cot & highchair are available and also a selection of kids toys. The apartment is a great place and we spend a lot of time there as a family with our two kids. We hope the price reflects the fact that the flat comfy, clean and practical and is more than just basic but not too over the top. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay and a short distance from the city. The flat is modern with a homely feel. It has a newly refurbished walk in shower. A taxi into Durham will cost roughly £10. When we are in the area we use JD's, polite, friendly and always on time. The flat is situated close to a number of take-aways, a local gym and a late opening convenience store for essentials. Feel free to ask any questions at any time. I will also make myself available by phonecall if needed. Meadowfield is a busy, friendly suburb with access to the the main bus route into Durham city. It is a great place for a night out or a theatre visit. There is a parking space right outside the apartment (look for number 37 painted on the road). As for public transport, a bus into Durham will take roughly 10 minutes and the nearest stop is within 150m of the apartment complex. Local taxi costs around £8-10 if you don't fancy driving in to town. Access is via a code for both the main door and the apartment. More specific details will be provided pre-check in.
