Golden Fleece Cottage, self catering accomodation
Compact, cosy and simple accommodation for up to 4 people plus an infant. The cottage is opposite an inn and next-door to the village store, who supply quality local produce. Lowick is a small farming village in North Northumberland close to beautiful beaches, castles and the rugged Cheviot Hills. Holy Island is only a few miles away. The history of the area can be explored by visiting nearby towns such as, Berwick-upon Tweed, Bamburgh and Alnwick. Scotland is only a 15 minute drive from Lowick. The cottage was formerly a pub called the Golden Fleece. It is compact and cosy and includes a combined living-room and kitchen, spacious bathroom with shower, one double bedroom and a single bedroom containing bunkbeds. There is electric heating. There is no garden. The village is in rural farmland with access to a number of easy walks. There is a bus service to Wooler and Berwick. Driving around the area is easy as there is little traffic. To access the cottage, the key is located in a key safe. We will provide a code before your arrival, if we are not able to greet you ourselves.
