A cosy apartment, in a converted barn. At the top of a traditional farm track (unpaved surface - see house rules) Apartment is part of the original farm buildings with the owner living next door. The farm is situated 1/2 mile away from the nearest village that has 2 pubs, bus stops and a train station (Manchester - Buxton). The Apartment is ideally placed for walking, with a path leading towards Lyme Park (1hr), and a path leading towards the neighbouring village of Whaley Bridge. (40 min). A self contained apartment, 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, lounge-dining area and kitchen. The apartment has views toward New Mills and Kinder Scout. The apartment benifits from its own private garden area which is well sheltered and a bit of a sun trap. A table and chairs is provided for your enjoyment. A private shed is also available for additional storage, for muddy boots, bikes etc. (Access available via an outside route, owner will show you). A lock can be provided; please request on booking. Anything stored must be covered on your private insurance. A dedicated front door within 10m of where you can park. There are some small steps in and out of the property (6 inches max). Once in the property it is level through out. The host will leave you to enjoy your holiday, however will be available for suggestions of things to do in the area. Suggestions on dining and drinks. If you need advice and/or a good pint of traditional ale just ask. Plenty of space to enjoy your time. If you want to sit in one of the surrounding fields please ask, as it is quite confusing which ones belong to the farm. Best accessed by car. 1/2 mile to nearest bus and train station. You can walk to many different villages within an hour. Apartment is accessed via a farm track. This is accessible using a normal car. In winter the road can get interesting; the host can assist with access if need be. (Depending on covid restrictions)
