La Petite Maison - Chevrières/Oise

This charming 300 hundred year old cottage with all mod cons) and its delightful own garden is the perfect place for a peaceful weekend (or longer, if you wish). Situated in the centre of the quaint village of Chevrieres next to the impressive old Catholic Church, this off-street location provides an ideal base for exploring the surrounding towns of Chantilly and Senlis . A local grocery store and award-winning bakery are less than 50 metres from the house. Our little guest house is over 300 years old and still retains many of its original features. Enjoy your winter evening meals next to the cosy fireplace ( we of course supply the wood) and during the summer you may dine outside in your own little private garden, there is a bbq for your use ! As our guest house is nestled in the large garden of our own family home, we will be on hand to help you with anything you may need during your stay. Meals are also available upon request, prepared by myself with only locally sourced or home-grown ingredients. The bustling town of Compiegne with it’s beautiful Palace and forest is a mere 20 minute drive from Chevrieres. As well as boasting the town’s many historic features, it also has a wonderful selection of shops and restaurants to visit. Chevrières Train station is a short ten minutes walk from the house, where a direct line will have you in Paris in 40 minutes. The city of Paris (50 minutes drive) is also easily accessed by the nearby A1 motorway. Fluent French and English spoken.
