This park is one of the largest continuous natural areas in the Netherlands. 6150 hectares of forest and heath area on the border of Friesland and Drenthe, ideal for hiking and cycling. At the visitor center of the Drents-Friese Wold, you can learn more about nature. Here you will also find nice route and also special routes for families with children. The Aeckingermeer The Aekingermeer tucked away in the green. The lake is located in the Natural Aekingerzand less than three kilometers from the BosBungalows. You can enjoy walking through the Aekingerzand, a heath and shifting sands. Jaargeteide each has its charm. Aekingermeer It is a very clean swimming pool and ideal for children because the ground slopes gently. The heath Drenthe is the least populated province Dutch. Nature is the norm! Dense forests, flocks of sheep on the purple moors, sand dunes, fens etc etc. From BosBungalows you walk on the heath and you will quickly against various animals.
