Swan House, Pule Hill Centre of Marsden

The Swan apartment is a newly renovated flat in the centre of the bustling, quaint village of Marsden. The Swan flat has being recently renovated to the highest standard from being previously the Swan Pub. The flat has an open plan kitchen and living room which has great views of the centre of Marsden. Marsden is known for it's friendly locals & great community spirt, you could take great comfort in asking a local for any advice on the area. The flat has on street parking outside the flat. We have designed the space to have an open plan kitchen & living room, we have kept the space cosy & warm and we have incorporated new fixtures and fittings whilst having traditional features. The living room has a small 2 seated sofa & a 42 inch smart tv where you can enjoy Netflix, Amazon & fast WIFI. The master bedroom in the flat has a shower en-suite & the main bathroom has a shower bath suite. On arrival the keys will be left in a secure lock box and check in instructions will be given. We will also leave an information booklet in the flat with lots of local tips & things to do. The local village of Marsden has plenty of shops, cafe's and a few restaurants & bars. You can find anything you would need in the village from an artisan bakery, to craft ale pubs. The area is a haven for outdoor activity, Marsden is surrounded by Moorland, being owned by the national trust the moors and paths are well maintained and marked. We have a local national trust centre where you can find lots of information on walks, trails, mountain biking etc. The Huddersfield Narrow Canal links Yorkshire & Lancashire through the longest canal tunnel in the UK from the Standedge visitors centre which is located around 0.5 mile from the centre of the village. This is a great trip out where you can visit the museum and take a canal boat trip through the tunnel and into Diggle in Lancashire. We have a small coop supermarket in the village where you can find most convenience products, we also have lots of small independent shops where you can buy all essentials from butchers to groceries! We have a booklet of information in the flat with local restaurants, shops activities to do in the area. Marsden has it's own train station and it well connected to the nearby towns and cities of Huddersfield, Leeds & Manchester. The train station is a five minute walk to the property and runs regular trains in both directions. The flat is located in the centre of the village Marsden, and runs a frequent service, the closest bus stop is directly outside of the flat.
