The Little John room is a family room based in the Little John Hotel in Hathersage. It sleeps 4 people with 1 double and 2 single beds in a large airy room. Ideal for families, children and dogs welcome. It has a large en-suite bathroom with a shower. Free wifi is included and free parking is available onsite. Hathersage is an ideal base for loads of activities with lots of walking, climbing and cycling routes on the doorstep. Hathersage is also one of the few places in the country with an outdoor heated swimming pool which has just undergone refurbishment and modernisation. Below the swimming pool is an outdoor games area which can be hired for football, basketball and tennis in the summer. Above the swimming pool is a childrens play park and skate park. The hotel is a five minute walk from the train station which is on the main Sheffield to Manchester line. Opposite the hotel is a bus stop with buses to Bakewell and just round the corner are bus stops to Castleton, with it's caverns and blue john mines, in one direction and to Sheffield the other way. Ladybower reservoir is a popular attraction with good walking and cycling routes around it and is only a 10 minute drive away. Loads of places to walk most popular destination has to be stanage .
