Saxon Park Farm Cottage

Saxon Park Guest Cottage is situated on a working cattle farm in the Eastern Free State. The cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms as well as a lounge/dining area and fully equipped kitchenette. The farm is approximately 24km from the town of Ficksburg. The cottage is close to the main house. The veranda walks out onto the garden and guests can relax in the country environment. Ample space in the garden and surrounding farm to go for walks or for the kids to play in. Country living at its best! The cottage is set up for guests primarily so guests have the entire space to themselves. The cottage has a lounge/dining area with lots of books to read and board games to play. A kitchenette is fully equipped for self catering. We cater for the different needs of our guests. Privacy is respected at all times. Should guests want to know more about the farm, we will gladly show them around and tell them more. The farm and its surrounds are characterised by clean, fresh air, wide open spaces and clean, fresh water in ample supply. The only noise you will hear are birds chirping away in the garden and the odd cow baulking. Beautiful sunsets, clear night skies to view the stars. We are situated ±22km from the town of Ficksburg. Travelling to us will take you on a 18km tar road and a further 4km dirt road. We can assist with travelling to and from town. We have dogs that love humans and will not be a bother.
